How Two Chairs Dating works

Dating apps are fine.
Leaving the house is better.

We make meeting people in real life feel less awkward, without turning it into a performance. Good rooms, thoughtful groups, and hosts who know when to step in—and when to step back.

Find your evening
“You don’t need a better profile. You need a good room and a reason to say hello.”

From booking to matching

Here’s what to expect.

No mystery mechanics. We make the format clear before you arrive so you can spend less time wondering and more time talking.

01

Book for yourself—or the group chat.

Choose up to four tickets and assign each one to a distinct guest. Everyone claims their own ticket and has their own private account.

02

Arrive, check in, exhale.

Your host welcomes the room and guides a sequence of short one-to-one conversations. There’s time after to stay for another drink.

03

Make your choices privately.

After check-in, choose anyone you’d be happy to hear from again. Pick one person, several, or nobody at all.

04

Hear back after the window closes.

If you both chose each other, we’ll share your emails after the 24-hour matching window. Nothing is revealed early.

The privacy promise

A no is private.
A yes is mutual.

Your one-sided choices are never shown—not to attendees, hosts, or organizers. Contact details are shared only when the interest goes both ways.

Worth knowing

What if I don’t match?

It happens, and it isn’t a verdict. A mutual match depends on timing and two private choices aligning on one evening. We never imply that nobody chose you.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely. Most people do. The night is hosted specifically so arriving solo feels natural.

Can I transfer a ticket?

Not after purchase. Before the event starts, the purchaser can refund that ticket and book a new one if space remains.

Who sees my number?

Nobody unless you opt to share it with mutual matches. Email is always shared with a mutual match so you can say hello.
